1500 is Facebook’s friend limit

September 2nd, 2007 · 1 Comment

When Lene Alexandra Ă˜ien, a Norwegian model and previous contestant in Robinson registered at Facebook she became very popular. Soon the had gathered a massive of 1500 friends and she as off course very pleased with it.

Then she sat down and was just about to begin sending messages to her friends when a warning message came up. It said she had “to many friend”s and in a matter of minutes she was thrown out from the site.

When Lene called Facebook to ask why she’d been suspended they answered that she used up to much of the site’s resources. It turned out they had had their eyes on her for a longer period of time.

After that phone call Lene switched to MySpace where they seam to allow as many friends as you like.
