The first release candidate for GNOME 2.20.0 has been release and is available for download from the gnome website. The release of the final version is due for later this month and this RC is the last before the code freeze starts on September 10th. You’re encouraged to test for as many bugs as possible if you feel a little adventurous but keep in mind this is not necessarily a “safe” version to use. It’s been released for testing and hacking purposes.
The RC has been given the name GNOME 2.19.92 and can be compiled using GARNOME.
