When I try to share a story with my friends using the shout system the function that should list all my friends collapses. Somehow it doesn’t find anything at all to show me but the loading icon. I checked with a friend who only had one friend and it worked fine for him so now I’m thinking this issue could be limited to people with pretty much friends or at least 15.
The error message shown is that my filtering was to specific.
I know launching new functions to a site always generates bugs, some obvious and some you wouldn’t have dreamed of. Since I feel I’m the only one experiencing this issue, at least what I know of, I want to hear from others.
Before filing a bug report it could be good to know if this was caused by my browser or the new Digg system. I use Gran Paradiso as a browser which is the alpha version of Firefox 3 and I can honestly say that browser is not yet bug free. Anyway, I think Mozilla would like a bug report if it turns out it was their fault.

When I try to shout to all my friends (250+), Digg just hangs. I have to trim the shouts down to like 15 at a time which takes forever. It sucks.

I have the same problem as Zega. It has made digg nearly unusable for submitting and sharing stories. I can’t believe this issues has not been addressed yet. Urgh.

Yeah…I know alot of people having this problem, including myself. Its awful! I just sent in a bug report today. Hopefully it will be fixed shortly. It’s very irritating! I have over 500+ friends that I need to send out shouts to.

I have the same issue - my shout box fails to pull up my contacts - it just hangs and hangs, churns and churns. I have never shouted to anyone before so I don’t know why this is happening, or if I am blacklisted (why? never did anything spammy).
