If you think this is really unimportant news, you're probably right. But you can never be sure.

Rotor blade on the run

The hard wind in southern Sweden hit the island Gotland particularly hard on Friday last week. On the Friday morning the villagers in Näs were woken by a loud sound. When they came outside they saw that one of the wings on the wind power station was gone. The rotor blade had lost its grip and flown 40 meters. Were it had landed a crater, one meter deep, could be seen.

The neighbourhood is filled with wind power stations and the locals have expressed their fear that people will get hurt. They do however have something to look forward to if a person does get hit. They will have a nice picture to post on the web.
