Server meltdowns are really annoying!

I spend about five to ten minutes on Digg every day looking for new interesting stories about web design and tech related news. I’m not a dedicated Digg fan, I mean it’s not like Reddit, Dzone or DesignFloat, but I find interesting things there from time to time. One major difference between Digg and Reddit is for example that more bloggers get featured on the front page at Digg. That could be a good thing, not just getting articles from big established sites. In most cases though, that is a bad thing. You’ll soon understand why. [Read more →]

Those of you who have been here before have surely noticed a certain change in the visual appearance. I have now after a few weeks with a “temporary layout” redesigned the major part of the blog. Although it’s nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, I am very pleased. At least I have achieved a somewhat more appealing look than before. [Read more →]

The Laws Of Web Design

It is my hope that you will find these laws of value. Some of them have been taken from programming laws but as you will see they apply to web design as well. I have ever since I read Murphy’s laws on programming wondered if there are something similar for web design. When I looked it up it turned out it didn’t.
